Service Announcements

Mr. Carlton Eugene” Khalif” Fisher 61 , of Charlotte, NC. passed away Saturday August 19, 2017 at his residence. Funeral service will be held Saturday August 26, 2017 at Greater Providence Baptist Church 200 Milton Rd. Charlotte, NC 28215. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm and the service will follow at 1:30 pm.

Mr. Carlton Eugene Fisher was born March 18, 1957, in Fayetteville, NC to the late Mention Fisher and Ruth Fisher. He was the youngest of five siblings.  Carlton, affectionately known as “Khalif” at an early age moved to Newark, NJ.  He was educated in the Newark Public School System.  After graduating high school, Carlton attended Essex County College.

Carlton worked as a Bus driver for New Jersey Transit and was later employed at Hoffman La Roche Pharmaceutical Company. After relocating to Charlotte, NC, Carlton joined Sunbelt Rentals where he worked until his passing.

On June 2, 1978, Carlton married Desiree Jackson (Divorced) and from that union their son Sean Fisher was born.

All who knew Carlton, knew he was outgoing, fun loving, kind, and a people person. He loved his family and friends immensely. On Saturday August 19, 2017 while at home, Carlton transitioned from this earthly  life.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving son, Sean Fisher of Cinnaminson, NJ; two grandchildren, Samarra and Derek Fisher; his beloved mother, Ruth Fisher of Charlotte, NC; four siblings, Rufus Fisher (Helen-wife) of Hillside, NJ; Joan Hinton (Slyvester-husband) of Charlotte, NC; Lee Fisher (Vivian-wife) of Newark, NJ; Atlas Fisher of San Antonio, Tx; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and

friends.
