Mr. Brandon Booker Alexander of Charlotte, NC. passed away August 28,2016 at Carolinas  Medical  Center – University. Funeral service will be held Saturday Sept. 3, 2016 at First Baptist Church West 1801 Oaklawn Ave. Charlotte, NC 28216.Public viewing will be held Friday Sept 2 ,2016 at Long & Son from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Visitation will begin Saturday September 3, 2016 at 10:00 am and the service will follow at 11:00 am. Military rites and interment will be at Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens Huntersville, NC.

Mr. Brandon Booker Alexander, 88 of Charlotte, NC was born on January 28, 1928, the seventh child of the late Anthony and Cora Bessie McLaughlin.  He departed his life peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Alexander leaves to cherish his wife of 21 years Geneva Barber; his 4 children Olivia, LaRita (Tim), Robin (Roland) and Bryant Kendrick.  One brother; Issac Alexander, three sisters; Bessie Caldwell (Alfred), Rose Gillespie and Ruth Mann. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
