Ms Barbara Ann Moody, 85 of Charlotte, NC passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Novant Health Main. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 17,2021 at Long & Son Mortuary Chapel at 11:00 am. Viewing & Visitation will begin at 10:00 am.

Miss Barbara Ann Moody, 85, was born in Seneca, South Carolina. She was the fifth child born to the late John Grady Moody and Josephine Carter Moody.
The Moody Family moved to Charlotte, North Carolina around 1944. Barbara was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System and received her B.A. Degree from Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC. Barbara was employed by the Kannapolis, NC School System, then Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System until her retirement in 1988. Barbara was also employed by Measurement Incorporated and Central Piedmont Piedmont Community College.
Barbara was preceded in death by four of her siblings: Edna Moody Barnett, Mary Moody Johnson, Charles Perry Moody, and Robert Carter Moody.
Barbara is survived by her sister Jane Moody Brewer, Charlotte, NC, two nephews: Rodney B. Brewer, Sr., Charlotte, NC, Robert Carter Moody, II, Charlotte, NC; three nieces: Mrs. Brenda Feaster (Ronald), Ocala, FL, Ms. Valerie Johnson, Baltimore, MD, and Ms. Jonette Moody, Charlotte, NC; one sister-in-law Mrs. Doris Jones Moody, Charlotte, NC, a host of other relatives and friends.
