My heart was saddened to hear of Audrey's passing. She had a beautiful spirit and was definitely an inspiration to her Belk family. She will truly be missed. My condolences and prayers to the family.

I remember us as two 11 year olds, sitting on Audrey's porch day dreaming about our futures. I realize while I day dreamed about mine, Audrey was planning her future. And so she apparently did throughout her life. The result was a life well lived. I can only aspire to such a course-- "a life well lived." My sincerest condolences to Carolyn, and Audrey's pride and joy, her daughter, and the entire family. REST WELL, MY FRIEND❣

I’m very sad to hear the news of Audrey Abron’s passing. She was a remarkable and dynamic woman who put her talent to work for language immersion education in our community in a powerful way. My heart goes out to Annese for the loss of her mother.

Annese, you are in my heart and my prayers. To hear of the passing of your dear mother is devastating. My heart breaks at the loss of my friend, my sister-in-Christ, my church family sister, and my soror. While we know and rejoice that she is resting forever with our Lord Jesus, we hurt and we grieve that she's no longer with us. May the Love of God hold you tight and comfort you in an amazing way.

Audrey you will truly be missed. We were friends since High School. You were instrumental in helping my daughter in her quest to join Delta Sigma Theta sorority. You’ve been helpful with my granddaughter aspiration to attend TCU. I am so torn that I had to find out about your passing on Messenger, but I am glad to find out. To God be the Glory my friend.

So sad to hear of this wonderful lady’s passing. She was a mentor to so many people young and old. I saw her in March and so glad I got to hug her for the last time although neither of us knew it. I know her pride was her daughter and my heart is with her. God definitely has another angel to watch over us all.

I am so sorry to hear of Audry's passing. I worked with Audry and other members of our sorority serving monthly dinners at the women's shelter; we could always look to Audry for directions to make sure things went smoothly. Audry was a wonderful lady, a hard worker, compassionate about the sorority's causes, and represented our chapter with dignity. She will truly be missed. I offer my sincerest condolences to her family.
