Prayers to the family of officer Bennett! He was such a great guy. Very nice, kind, and always positive. It was a pleasure knowing him from Novant Health.

When I first heard the news I'd just came off vacation, something that's rare at Novant Health of course along with being in shock!! My first thought was, When was the last thing I said to Mr. Bennett and then I remembered I was dropping off a package for a co-worker at the Main Lobby in the circle and Mr.Bennett with his professional personality came over and said No employee should block the circle and we laugh out loud and hug each other and the last thing I said tp Alex was I love you. Rest in peace my friend

It saddens me to be leaving this message about Mr. Bennett. Although we never hung out together, whenever we would have conversation it seemed like we did. Our conversations always spoke to appreciation for our blessings and the various positive and negative situations that we all encounter in this life. Our conversations were always concluded with inspirational words leaving both of us with smiles suggesting that it was good conversation. Alex hold onto your toothpick, I will. You will be missed physically however it no doubt that your spirit and positivity will carry on! RIP and may God continue to bless you in spirit and your family. Peace.............. Michael

Alex was always a pleasure to be around. He has always been a great friend and coworker. He will be missed by many.

Alex was a great guy. I worked with him for many years at the hospital. He always had a smile to share. I will miss him so much.
